10-10-09 - Cocoa's puppies are a month old already and are growing well. They are not quite as big
as Hershey's puppies (our older litter) when they were a month old. I think that they will probably be on the medium
to smaller size for a lab.
The puppies have been wormed twice now. Today, we started feeding them just a little Purina Puppy
Chow; they gobbled it right up! They are much more active now than just a week ago. They know our voices and respond
to us with enthusiasm when we are in their room.
At this time, one of the males and one of the females are spoken for. They will be ready for new homes
around the end of October.

October 23 - The puppies had their "well-puppy" check with our vet yesterday. All of them were perfect.
They also were given their first set of puppy vaccinations. We weaned them from Cocoa now and they are eating Purina
Puppy Chow very well. They will be ready to go to new homes by next weekend. We have one female that is not spoken
for at this time. (We are planning to keep two of the females ourselves, so there is a pick between the three females if you
are interested in one of the females.)
November 10 - All of Cocoa's puppies are spoken for. We hope to have new chocolate lab
puppies again in the Spring.
